How to read this
- An item's total impact is its gold cost converted into power — pricier items hit the board harder.
- That impact is split across four levers: combat (raw fight power), initiation (who starts the fight ahead), survivability (staying in it), and push (objective pressure).
- The sim does NOT model item actives or Aghanim's upgrades — impact is the stat/power contribution only, not ability semantics. So a Blink reads as initiation, not as a specific jump.
Every item turns net worth into fight power. During a match, items complete in build order as a hero's net worth crosses their cumulative cost (the same builds you set in the strategy phase), and each adds power across the four dimensions below.
This page ranks the catalog by total impact so you can see which items move the needle most, and how each one splits between hitting harder, starting fights, surviving them, and taking towers. The heroes listed under each item are the ones whose default build runs it.
